About Us

Sinako Cleaning and Allied Services was founded in June 1996 when Nomhle Ketelo and her childhood friend, Nomhi Mtwecu saw a niche in the market for professional contract cleaning services. The company started with a staff complement of five and now it has grown to a staff complement of up to 150.

Both partners share a strong social awareness. They have been involved in the employment movements and non-government education initiatives. They had to overcome prejudice and financial hardships to build their thriving business. Today Sinako has a turnover of more than R3 million and Sinako operates and is situated in the Southern most lip of South Africa namely Western Cape. It also exists in Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape.
